Ollie and I have just spent Christmas in Disney World and it was like a dream come true! I’ve wanted to go since I was two years old, and if you’re a regular reader of my blog you might have seen the post all about fulfilling this lifelong ambition and how I really loved Mickey Mouse from a very young age. I can’t even describe the feeling that I got when I saw that statue of Walt and Mickey in the Magic Kingdom for the first time.
One of the highlights of this trip was seeing Walt Disney – One Man’s Dream at Hollywood Studios. I’m astounded by what this man achieved throughout his life, and to think it all started with a mouse!
We were lucky enough to get tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party which meant we got to see snow falling on Main Street, Wishes Fireworks and Cinderella’s Castle transformed into a canvas of colour and glisten with icicles. The party also had the most adorable Christmas parade with Mickey and his friends and we all got given yummy hot cocoa and Christmas cookies.
Ollie and I both agreed that this was the best holiday we’ve have ever had and we can’t wait to go back to Orlando. The hotel we stayed in was fab too. I’ve written a post about it here.
