Now we’re talking. I’m totally back on track with the weightloss, and feeling good! I know some of you might be reading my posts and thinking it looks like I’m getting nowhere fast, but I am. Here’s the thing – I’m still in my size 10 jeans, but they feel really uncomfortable and my stomach looks really squished! I don’t know about you guys, but I have always found that my weightloss is never as much a week as someone who has loads to lose. I hear of people saying they lost 10lbs in the first week, and I’m like whaaattttt? If I lost that amount I would have hit my goal in less than two weeks! I am secretly jealous of these guys, but at the same time I suppose I’m at the stage that they’ll be at when they have that last bit to lose and it gets much harder. That always happens, don’t you think? Anyway….
Weightloss goal: 18lb
Weightloss this week: 1lb
Weightloss total: 1lb (was 3lb)
Average hours sleep per night: 8
Cheat days: 1 ~ I had a Full English Breakfast, went to Toby Carvery and ate a couple of healthy snacks all in the same day. Nothing too horrendous, but it became a cheat day because I consumed too many calories.
Favourite meal: Boiled egg and toast for breakfast.
Totally loving: Nandos – and guess what? I managed to have it without cheating. Oh yeah!
Observations: Eating fruit and veg is speeding up my metabolism. More about this soon.
Rewards: None, but I should have been rewarded!
I’ve totally cut down the cheat days to one, and it’s starting to pay off. I still had takeaways and ate out, but I made the changes that I talked about last week. On Chinese night I chose chow mein, and I skipped dessert when we went to Toby Carvery, even though everyone else had one. I’ve not had any Indian takeaways yet. I’m still not sure how I’m going to tackle that one, if at all.
I’m thinking about posting a snippet of my food diary and a few tips and tricks. Is that something any of you would be interested in?
