I can’t get over how sunny it is around these parts at the moment. Some days it’s been 24 degrees. Luckily I’ve got my La Roche-Posay Tinted Dry Touch Gel-Cream to see me through. Some of you might remember I was sent this around a month ago (read this post here), and if you follow me on Snapchat you’ll know that I’ve been using it to protect my skin in all types of weather ever since. I reckon it’s had a pretty good test now, so today I’m going to discuss my thoughts….

The newly released La Roche-Posay Tinted Dry Touch Gel-Cream is part of their Anthelios range, and although it’s designed for all skin types I would say it’s ideal for combination skin. This is face protection at it’s best and as well as containing a whopping SPF50+ it’s also a foundation/tinted moisturiser. In terms of packaging it comes in a 50ml squeezy tube with an easy to use pump that controls the amount of product released perfectly. You’re definitely not going to get any wastage with this. When applying the gel absorption is super fast due to it’s non-greasy formula, so I like to make my application quick. The end result is a lovely water resistant matte finish.
Overall I’m really impressed, and so glad that I was introduced to this gel. The colour of the product seems to suit my skin tone really well, and I can’t tell you how glad I am to have high protection that doesn’t leave my skin all greasy. There really is nothing worse! The coverage it gives is really good too, which is why I called it a foundation/tinted moisturiser because it’s somewhere in-between the two. La Roche-Posay state that this is suitable for acne-prone skin and I can honestly say I wish this was around when I had spots because it would have been perfect for me. I also I think it’s extremely good value for money at £18.00 (but currently on offer for £11.00!), and I can see myself repurchasing this every year now.
This is the first product I’ve tried by La Roche-Posay. Can you recommend any more?
