You guys know how much I love talking about body hair right? It’s one of my favourite subjects! Well today I’m going to focus on laser hair removal as it’s a treatment I’ve been asked about a million times in the salon. It’s also something I’ve considered having done myself. So what actually is laser hair removal?….
In a nutshell, laser hair removal involves removing body hair by damaging and eventually destroying the hair follicles using laser. The treatment is carried out by administering an intense light beam on a large area of hairs. Once destroyed the follicles can no longer produce anymore hair. The fact that this treatment targets such a big area in one go is a real bonus when compared to other methods such as electrolysis, which I studied at college. I remember how painful it was when we had to practice on each other whilst focusing on individual hairs. It was really time consuming and not something I wanted to have done. Laser hair removal seems to be a method that’s a lot less painful which is why I’ve considered having it done myself.
If you would like to know more about laser hair removal take a look at the video above. I found it really useful as you can see the process of how it’s done. There’s also people talking honestly about their personal experiences of having this treatment. Following that Pulse Light Clinic offer free consultations and patch-tests. You can e-mail them at firstname.lastname@example.org and visit their website at www.pulselightclinic.co.uk
